I build systems for factories, for businesses, and for my own curiosity.

Hi, I am Eli. I am a systems engineer, and to me that means looking at the whole rather than the part. A robot cell is never just an arm. It is the machines around it, the people who run it, the safety case, the data it produces and the business that has to profit from it. I design all of that as one system, and I enjoy it most when it starts out as chaos.

That habit was formed in the deep end, with a refurbished 20-year-old robot that had to serve three large CNC machines, theory on my side and no practice. I learned PLC programming, machine vision, kinematics and CE safety as the cell came together, and it still runs today. The domains have kept changing since then, from micro-fulfillment to surveying robots, a robotics division and AI tooling. The method has stayed the same. Understand the whole, give it structure, then go as deep as delivery demands.

The same habit runs my own life. The business behind my wife’s clinic runs on systems I built, mostly open-source and self-hosted. My notes, planning and research go through AI agents I wrote. And my kids are convinced the robot on this page should fetch their toys. This site maps all of it. Take the tour.
